No evidence of problems with iCloud. Our last recorded check found it behaving normally. That does not rule out a fault affecting only some users or regions.
Every check runs a four-tier cascade and stops at the first tier that gives a clear answer: iCloud's official status feed, then a direct HTTP probe, then an ICMP network ping, and finally crowdsourced reports from visitors. What to do when iCloud is not working
First check the banner above. If it shows evidence of problems, the fault is most likely on iCloud's side and waiting is usually the only option. If it shows nothing wrong, the problem may still be local or specific to your region, so it is worth trying these: restart the app, switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, flush your DNS cache, and check whether a VPN or firewall is interfering.
About iCloud
iCloud is Apple's sync and backup layer for photos, files, mail, notes and device backups. Because most of it runs silently in the background, an outage often shows up first as sign-in failures or photos that will not upload.
How outage detection works
We combine machine probes with human signals. When the volume of "Report a problem" clicks passes our alert threshold, we flag likely problems even before iCloud's own status page catches up.
